Anna Christmas has been getting down to Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell since she was a fetus (thanks Mom & Dad!). Upon exiting the uterus, Anna got right to work making music, movement and costumes in dance productions, choirs and Musical Theatre productions. She eased on down the yellow brick road, which eventually lead her to Nzingha Camaras West African Dance class in December of 2000. It was love at first sight  and sound and Anna has not stopped shaking what her ancestors gave her!

Anna Christmas has been so fortunate as to train with many masters of dance including Gregory Hines, Nzingha Camara, Chester Whitmore, Kemoko Sano, Koka Diabate, Noah Andzongo Breeze Lee, Jackie Lopez(Miss Funk) and Mareme Faye. Anna has been a proud member of dance companies Ballet Kouman Kele, Africabok, Viver Brazil and is now the utterly enthusiastic Co-Founder & Co-Director of LEsprit dAfrique.
